The Metropole Wing, originally opened in 1901, is one of Hanoi’s most historically significant luxury hotels and remains a premier five-star destination in Vietnam.

​
Originally opened in 1966, the hotel was the first international five-star property in Bangladesh (then East Pakistan) and remains a landmark in the country’s political and social history. Designed by architect William B. Tabler.
